I am about half way through The Shack right now...it is great so far, so I recommend it. I read 46 books last year and they are all listed in the sidebar of my blog if you want a list to pick through.faroutmomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01724173306679105969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042171.post-26849533040194423002009-03-15T20:10:00.000-04:002009-03-15T20:10:00.000-04:00I finished the book "Those Who Save Us" by Jenna B...I finished the book "Those Who Save Us" by Jenna Blum last week.... one of the best books I've ever read!

Also, Redeeming love by Francine Rivers and Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. Jodi Picoult is awesome too... I've read My Sisters Keeper, Plain Truth and The Pact.

Check out my blog for books that I've read and if you have any questions about specific ones, let me know!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042171.post-33116462728522859132009-03-13T17:20:00.000-04:002009-03-13T17:20:00.000-04:00I'm a huge Jodi Picoult fan. I'm currently reading Mercy and I also have Change of Heart that is up next for me. I agree with Jenni B but all in all I like her writing style.
Sarah M.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09275452608584400476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042171.post-86365196504971195582009-03-13T16:06:00.000-04:002009-03-13T16:06:00.000-04:00Okay, I know this is an old post, and you might th...Okay, I know this is an old post, and you might think I'm crazy, but pick up a copy of Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. Don't think about the cover art, just read it. Alicia and I don't usually agree on books, but this one she read in a single sitting. It's fantastic. One of my favorite books of all times.iisamuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00563747958607565750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042171.post-17652924684995538962009-03-13T15:51:00.000-04:002009-03-13T15:51:00.000-04:00have you read "daughters of eve" by lynn austin? ...have you read "daughters of eve" by lynn austin? i also just finished "the last lacture" - which was a good fast nonfiction read. or do you read any jodi piccoult? i wouldn't recommend all or any (due to explicit sex/language), but "change of heart" or "my sister's keeper".
-jenni blodgettAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042171.post-16105843342325090242009-03-11T14:04:00.001-04:002009-03-11T14:04:00.001-04:00She is a non-religious author but anything from Ma...She is a non-religious author but anything from Mary Higgins Clark is full of suspense and twists and turns. Other good books that are interesting but may not meet your criteria is Dewey and The Shack. A heavy but fasinating read is Epicenter by Joel Rosenberg. I have the two sets of five novellas from Francine Rivers you are welcome to borrow if we can connect the next time you get this way; in fact you can raid my bookshelf and see if you can find anything else of interest.
AngelaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042171.post-22013672524847683522009-03-11T14:04:00.000-04:002009-03-11T14:04:00.000-04:00The Uglies by Scott Westerefeld and The Midnighter...The Uglies by Scott Westerefeld and The Midnighters by Scott Westerfeld are both really good (young adult).

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (also young adult).

Graceling by Kristin Cashore is a decent and original plot (I just didn't like the strong feminism undertones).Amiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05583971319806873447noreply@blogger.com
