Monday morning was AJ’s first day of preschool. He was very excited – counting down the days for the last week. He was even very concern about what shirt he was going to wear the first day… finally settling on a fishing shirt. (It was between that and a Vikings shirt – he make’s his Father proud).
The morning started out with pictures, pancakes with candy sprinkles, and lots of goofiness. He was wound up this morning.
(Hence the “dancing with backpack” shot to the right).
After dropping Andrew off at school, we did a little grocery shopping before heading to school where he met up with his buddy, Noah.
He was excited to see his teacher, find his cubby, and turn in his homework. He even got a name tag to wear around his neck and a name card to hang up on a board. Very exciting.
When I picked him up, he was wearing his crayon crown…. and for the life of me I couldn’t get a great picture of him with it on… this one is the best I got.
We then went to the library with his buddy, before coming home for a special made to order lunch… a peanut butter sandwich cut in four pieces, four pieces of salami and four apple slices… because he’s four of course.
