Grand Hotel like Never Before

I recently went to my annual retreat on Mackinaw Island with my dear friend, Jill.  However, instead of the usual four girls, we had eight this year and it was AMAZING!  Beyond wonderful!

As usual, I spent the night with Jill the night before and worked our way to the island the following morning.  Since we had 8 this year, 2 rooms, we were hoping The Grand Hotel would at least put our rooms on the same floor if they couldn’t be near each other. 

However, we were shocked to find out that they put all of us in the suite called “The Apartment of the President of the United States of America”.  Amazing decor, amazing space, amazing views…

 







Of course, our stay at the Grand Hotel is always spoils us with 3 five-course meals and beautiful accommodations.  We even managed to make it into a few of the retreat sessions with Ken Medema and Sandi Patty.
The Winsome Women got a little “rowdy” up at the Cupola Bar when the “piano man” started taking requests.
