Happy Veteran's Week

On Veterans Day, Andrew's third grade teacher handed each child the lyrics to Lee Greenwood's God Bless the USA and played the song in class.

She played it a few times and taught the class the song. Going through Andrew's folder later when he was busy doing something else, I found the lyrics and started singing the song.

His head shot over in my direction with a shocked look on his face.

"Mom! How do YOU know that song?"
