And they were splishin’ and a’splashin!
We have a free local splash pad near us that I take the boys to several times each summer. We went there last week one evening when Marc was gone salmon fishing. It’s a nice little set-up. They have a sand area to play in and picnic tables with umbrellas near by for the mamas to stay in the shade. Although, I confess… I’ve had to get up a few times and run through the water to cool down. And it’s fenced in, so I’m comfortable keeping one eye on the boys and the other in a good book. Win. Win.

is this the one in wyoming? if so, we have been meaning to get there all summer, but haven't yet! let's get together soon . . hopefully maybe in the next couple of weeks!
It's the Splash Pad at Veteran's Park in Kentwood. It's off 48th between Eastern and Division at the Kentwood Parks and Recs location. Would love to meet you guys there sometime before the summer's over!
